Gravel, Asphalt, Gravel.
A short passage over asphalt leads to the start of a beautiful gravel road and climb. In the next 10k we climb slowly from 1000 mtr to 1500 mtr. Some steep sections at the first turns but mostly a low average of 3/4 %. The roads flattens after circa 7k the view to the east and the Petra region in the north is spectaculair. After 12k the gravel road leads back to the King's Highway - the main road heading to Wadi Musa. Shortly after reaching the main road there's a touristic viewpoint and tourist shop for a cup of tea.

The last 25k of this day we follow the King's Highway heading north to our final destination Wadi Musa. Wadi Musa (literally "Valley of Moses") is the nearest town to the archaeological site of Petra. It hosts many hotels and restaurants for tourists.
